Punjab Sends Eighth Batch of 30 Principals to Singapore for Training

The Punjab government continues its efforts to transform school education in the state into a world-class system. As part of this initiative, the eighth batch of 30 government school principals has been sent to Singapore for professional training. The group was flagged off by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in Chandigarh. Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains was also present during the event. Under the state government’s programme, the selected principals will travel to Singapore to undergo professional teaching and leadership training. The initiative aims to enhance the quality of education in government schools by equipping school leaders with modern teaching practices and administrative skills. Officials said the training programme is designed to help principals adopt global best practices in education management and classroom learning. The experience gained through the programme is expected to benefit students studying in government schools across Punjab. The Punjab government has previously sent seven batches of teachers and principals to different countries for similar training programmes. With the departure of this latest group, the eighth batch has now been sent to Singapore as part of the ongoing effort to strengthen the state’s public education system.
