The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 will feature two matches on Saturday, with the first clash scheduled between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals. The match will be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The contest is set to begin at 3:30 PM, while the toss will take place at 3:00 PM. Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be aiming to secure their fourth consecutive win at their home ground this season. RCB’s bowling unit, led by Josh Hazlewood, has been a strong point for the team. Vice-captain Jitesh Sharma stated that the side has adapted its strategy effectively to suit the conditions at the Chinnaswamy pitch. This approach has helped the team remain unbeaten at home so far in the current season. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals face a challenging task. If their batting lineup fails to improve its technique, the match could turn into a one-sided affair. Looking at the head-to-head record, both teams have faced each other 33 times in IPL history. Royal Challengers Bengaluru have won 19 matches, while Delhi Capitals have secured 12 victories. One match ended in a tie, and another concluded without a result. In the previous season, both teams won one match each out of their two encounters.
