“RSS-BJP Against Social Justice,” Alleges Raja Waring During Constitution Rally

Sham Chaurasi (Hoshiarpur) : Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring launched a fierce attack on the BJP and RSS on Friday, accusing them of being fundamentally opposed to the Constitution and reservations for marginalized communities.

Speaking at the ‘Samvidhan Bachao Rally’ organized by former MLA Pawan Adhia, Warring alleged, “The BJP and RSS have never accepted the Constitution. They always wanted to change it and erase reservations.”

He claimed that the BJP’s push for 400+ seats in the recent Lok Sabha elections was part of a hidden agenda to alter the Constitution.Warring credited the Congress and Rahul Gandhi's campaign for halting the BJP’s ambitions.

“The BJP was reduced to 240 seats, and for the first time in ten years, Narendra Modi was forced to bow before the Constitution,” he asserted.

He also accused the central government of deliberately not filling government vacancies to avoid implementing reservation policies for Dalits and OBCs. “They are weakening the system from within,” Warring claimed.Extending his criticism to the AAP government in Punjab, Warring said it was “walking in BJP’s footsteps” by suppressing dissent.

He condemned the FIR against Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa for raising concerns about recent hand grenade attacks, and decried the use of force against peacefully protesting farmers demanding MSP.

Regarding Punjab's anti-drug efforts, Warring slammed the demolition of homes of addicts and small peddlers, questioning, “What is the fault of parents if their child is an addict?”

He stressed that while big suppliers must face strict action, the youth also need employment opportunities to help them break the cycle of addiction.

The rally also saw addresses from Partap Singh Bajwa, PCC General Secretary Capt Sandeep Sandhu, former minister Sangat Singh Gilzian, DCC President Micky Dogra, and Pawan Adhia, among others.
