Khalistani Extremist Module Behind Track Blast Attempt Exposed, Arms Seized

Police in Patiala have uncovered a Khalistan समर्थक extremist module allegedly linked to Pakistan’s ISI and arrested four of its members in connection with the attempted railway track blast near Shambhu. The development was confirmed during a press conference addressed by Kuldeep Chahal and Varun Sharma. According to officials, the arrested individuals have been identified as Pradeep Singh Khalsa, a resident of Mansa; Kulwinder Singh from village Bappiana in Mansa; Satnam Singh from Tarn Taran; and Gurpreet Singh from Goindwal Bypass in Tarn Taran. Police stated that multiple cases are already registered against the accused. DIG Kuldeep Chahal revealed that Pradeep Singh Khalsa was the key operative of the module. He was reportedly in close contact with a Malaysia-based Khalistani extremist and also maintained links with arms suppliers based in Pakistan. Authorities further alleged that he facilitated the sending of separatist youth to Malaysia for extremist training and later assigned them roles in militant activities. Police also claimed that the accused had formed a separatist group under the name “Chalda Vahir Chakravarti Atariye.” During the operation, security forces recovered a hand grenade, two .30 bore pistols along with ammunition, advanced communication devices, and a laptop. These devices were allegedly used by the accused to stay in contact with their handlers in Malaysia and weapons suppliers. SSP Varun Sharma stated that the group was planning further attacks targeting public infrastructure and properties. Investigations into the network and its wider links are currently underway.
