Primary School Girl Impresses CM Sukhu with Correct Answer

Baga Sarahan (Kullu) : Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today visited the Government Senior Secondary School in Baga Sarahan, under the Nirmand subdivision, where he emphasized the importance of providing students with both academic and practical knowledge.

During an interaction with students, CM Sukhu asked a group of Class 10 students to name the President of India. To his surprise, none of them could respond correctly. However, a young girl from a primary class impressed everyone by giving the correct answer.

The Chief Minister praised her on the spot and instructed the teachers to focus more on enhancing students’ general awareness and practical understanding.

In a candid conversation with students, the Chief Minister discussed general knowledge topics and inquired about their career interests, encouraging them to set clear goals and pursue them with dedication and determination. He also urged them to uphold human values and ideals as they work towards achieving their dreams.

CM Sukhu further proposed the construction of a modern school building to replace the old infrastructure for classes Pre-Nursery to 8th. He also took feedback from teachers regarding school-related issues.

Earlier in the day, CM Sukhu met with local residents at the Public Works Department Rest House in Baga Sarahan and listened to their grievances. He directed the concerned officials to take prompt action on the matters raised.
