Kanpur Training Plane Crash: Instructor, Trainee Pilot Killed

A training aircraft crashed in Kanpur on Thursday, killing an instructor and a trainee pilot. The accident took place near the banks of the Ganga. Police Commissioner Raghubir Lal said the Tecnam aircraft, operated by Garg Aviation, took off at around 11:30 am. The aircraft crashed approximately 20 minutes later near Nathapurva village in the Katri area. The victims were identified as instructor Sachin Bhatia from Gujarat and trainee pilot Abhishek Pujari from Karnataka. According to Lal, Bhatia had approximately 3,000 hours of flying experience. DGCA Informed About the Crash The authorities have informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) about the accident. According to police, a DGCA team will reach the crash site and conduct a detailed investigation into the incident. The exact cause of the crash has not yet been established. Investigators will determine whether a technical malfunction, weather conditions or another factor was responsible for the accident. Police and administrative officials have inspected the crash site. The wreckage of the aircraft, along with its technical aspects, is also being examined as part of the investigation.
