02 Sep, 2026 09:35 AM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at Sushma Swaraj Bhavan in New Delhi today at around 4:30 PM to attend the valedictory session of the ministerial summit organized by the Ministry of Jal Shakti. On this occasion, he will address the gathering and share his vision for cooperative governance. The two-day departmental summit, being held on September 1 and 2, 2026, marks the first in a series of such conferences envisioned by the Prime Minister. The initiative aims to foster greater collaboration between the Centre and state governments while strengthening the spirit of "Team India." The primary objective of the summit is to reinforce cooperative federalism, encourage joint responsibility, and enhance coordination between different levels of governance. Discussions during the sessions have focused on aligning national priorities with state-level execution, ensuring that both Centre and states work together seamlessly to address pressing challenges. Through this platform, the Ministry of Jal Shakti seeks to build a stronger sense of shared accountability and partnership, laying the groundwork for more effective policy implementation across the country.
