Australia Deports 15 Indians, Including 11 Punjabis; Arrival Expected in Delhi

Australia has deported 15 Indian nationals, including 11 individuals from Punjab. Among those deported is one woman. The group is expected to arrive at Delhi airport later tonight. The information was shared by Bhagwant Mann, who stated that he would personally receive them upon arrival in the national capital. According to the Chief Minister, the list received so far includes a total of 15 individuals, with 11 belonging to Punjab, two from Telangana, and one each from Haryana and Uttarakhand. He noted that such deportation cases are part of ongoing actions against individuals residing abroad through irregular means. Mann further said that once the deported individuals return, the government will gather complete information from them. This will include details about how they obtained their documents and who facilitated their travel abroad. He emphasized that a thorough investigation would be carried out to uncover the entire chain involved in such cases. The Chief Minister added that if required, the matter would also be taken up with the Ministry of External Affairs. He assured that the government is committed to examining the issue in depth and taking necessary steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.
