Team India Stars Expected at Kuldeep Yadav–Vanshika Singh Wedding

Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav is set to marry his childhood friend Vanshika Singh today, March 14. The wedding ceremonies have been taking place for the past three days at the ITC Savoy Hotel in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. According to the schedule, the Safaa (turban-tying) ceremony will take place at 4 pm today. The wedding procession (baraat) is scheduled to depart at 5 pm, followed by the varmala ceremony at 6 pm. The traditional wedding vows, or pheras, will begin at 8 pm, after which the remaining mandap rituals will continue late into the night. Several prominent personalities from Indian cricket are expected to attend the ceremony, including former captain Rohit Sharma, T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav, and Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir. The haldi ceremony began at 11 am on Friday and continued until 2 pm, creating a celebratory atmosphere within the hotel premises. Among those present, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal drew considerable attention during the festivities. He was seen applying turmeric to Kuldeep’s face and dancing to the beats of drums during the ceremony. Following the haldi ceremony, Kuldeep Yadav and Vanshika Singh also joined the celebrations with dance performances. The couple has known each other since childhood, and their families have shared a long-standing relationship. Their engagement took place on June 4, 2025, in Lucknow, in the presence of close family members and friends. Kuldeep Yadav hails from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, while Vanshika Singh is from Lucknow. Their childhood friendship gradually developed into a relationship, and the couple is now set to begin a new chapter of life through marriage.
