Mohali Shock: Woman Falls from Fifth Floor, Hospitalised in Critical State

A young woman reportedly jumped from the fifth floor of a commercial building in Mohali, triggering panic and prompting a police investigation. According to initial information, the incident took place at a City Centre complex located on Airport Road. Police officials received a call informing them that a woman had jumped from the fifth floor of the building. Upon reaching the spot, officers found that the victim had already been rushed to a hospital by bystanders. A police official, identified as Sanjay, stated that the team recovered the woman’s belongings from the scene, including a bag, a mobile phone, and other personal items. Preliminary reports indicate that the woman is a resident of Ambala. Authorities also found an Aadhaar card on the victim’s scooter parked at the site, which helped in informing her family. The family later confirmed that her condition remains critical. The woman has been identified as Tania. Police sources said that Tania had arrived at the location on a two-wheeler (Activa). Her bag reportedly contained the vehicle keys and a lunch box. Investigators are examining all possible angles to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
