Seven Killed in Indore House Fire Triggered During Electric Car Charging
A devastating fire incident claimed seven lives in a residential colony near Bengali Square in Indore early Wednesday morning. The blaze reportedly broke out around 4:00 am while an electric car was being charged at a house, leading to a tragic chain of events. According to eyewitnesses and preliminary investigation, an electric vehicle belonging to the Pugalia family had been plugged in for charging outside their home late at night. At approximately 4:00 am, a short circuit occurred at the charging point, which ignited the vehicle. The fire quickly spread to the house and reached around 15 gas cylinders stored inside. As the flames intensified, the cylinders began to explode. Reports indicate that at least four cylinders exploded one after another, causing powerful blasts that led to the partial collapse of the house. The intensity of the explosions left the occupants inside with little or no time to react or escape. The Pugalia family was hosting a family gathering, and several relatives were staying in the house at the time of the incident. So far, seven deaths have been confirmed in the tragedy. Three individuals sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to hospital for treatment. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
