Sunanda Sharma Urges Leniency for Student Who Disrupted Live Performance

Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma has shared a recent video addressing an incident that occurred during her live performance at RKGIT in Ghaziabad. Reacting to the episode, the singer appealed to the college management to forgive the student involved. According to reports, during her stage show at RKGIT, a student अचानक climbed onto the stage, causing panic among both the performer and the audience. In response, Sunanda Sharma immediately stepped back from the stage for her safety, while the security team quickly escorted the student away. Following the incident, the show was cancelled. The student has since released a video apologising for his actions. Identifying himself as Shivang Pandey, he stated that he is a fan of the singer and had gone onto the stage impulsively while she was performing, intending to touch her feet. He expressed regret for the incident and requested forgiveness, saying that he hoped the college management would also pardon him if the singer forgave him. In her response, Sunanda Sharma urged the college management and administration to take a lenient view of the matter. Referring to the incident that took place on April 3, she said she had learned that strict action was being considered against the student. However, she emphasised that such actions by fans are sometimes driven by admiration, even if expressed inappropriately. The singer stated that she has already forgiven the student and appealed to the authorities not to impose harsh punishment. She requested the college management to show compassion and consider pardoning the student.
