Trump Urges Americans to Leave Middle East Amid Escalating Iran Conflict
The ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran has entered its fourth day, with tensions continuing to escalate across the Middle East. Amid the worsening situation, former U.S. President Donald Trump has urged American citizens to leave the region as soon as possible, warning that a major escalation is yet to occur. According to a report by Fox News, two drones launched from Iran targeted the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Despite the attack, there were no reported casualties. Speaking at the White House on Monday, Trump stated that the conflict with Iran could last between four to five weeks, but added that military operations may continue for a longer duration if necessary. He emphasized that U.S. forces are currently engaged in large-scale military actions inside Iran. Trump further noted that the United States possesses the world’s most powerful military and is actively deploying it in the ongoing operations. He accused Iran of ignoring repeated warnings from Washington not to resume its nuclear program, stating that Tehran’s nuclear ambitions are becoming an increasing threat. Meanwhile, a report by Al Jazeera revealed that the United States and Israel have jointly carried out strikes on more than 1,000 locations across Iran. In the first 30 hours alone, over 2,000 bombs were dropped. The report added that at least 555 people have been killed and more than 700 injured so far. Among those killed was Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who died in an airstrike on the first day of the conflict, which began on February 28. In addition, three American soldiers were reported killed in the fighting on Sunday, highlighting the growing human cost of the conflict on both sides. The situation remains highly volatile, with fears of further escalation looming over the region.
