Vrindavan Boat Mishap: Six Dead, Sukhbir Badal Raises Safety Concerns

He also raised questions regarding the functioning of the Uttar Pradesh government in connection with the incident. Badal emphasized the need for strict safety measures, stating that life jackets should be mandatory for passengers on boats operating in rivers and fast-flowing water bodies. He further stressed that such regulations must be enforced rigorously to prevent similar tragedies in the future. He added that the reported negligence linked to the accident reflects a serious failure on the part of the authorities, and accountability must be ensured.
