Residents Extend Support to AAP’s Sukhdev Singh Patwari in Mohali MC Polls

Political activities surrounding the Mohali Municipal Corporation elections have intensified as Aam Aadmi Party candidate Sukhdev Singh Patwari filed his nomination from Ward No. 34. A large number of local residents also announced their support for his candidature during a public meeting held in Sector 70. Residents from MIG Super, MIG Independent, Rishi Apartments, and nearby areas falling under Ward No. 34 gathered at a park in Sector 70 for a large community meeting. During the event, people from the locality expressed their support for Sukhdev Singh Patwari and discussed key civic issues concerning the ward. The meeting focused on local development works, public concerns, and future plans for the ward. Addressing the gathering, R.P. Kamboj, President of the Welfare Association MIG (Super), highlighted the development works carried out by Sukhdev Singh Patwari in the area over the past years. He stated that Patwari has always remained connected with the people and has consistently worked towards resolving issues faced by residents. Speaking on the occasion, Sukhdev Singh Patwari said that public welfare has always remained his priority and that Ward No. 34 is like a family to him. He added that the trust and affection shown by residents would further motivate him to continue working for the development of the ward. He also assured residents that efforts would be made to further strengthen basic civic amenities and welfare initiatives in the area. Patwari also submitted his nomination papers before the SDM Mohali in the presence of constituency MLA Kulwant Singh. During the meeting, Satpal Singh Ghuman and General Secretary Puneet Bhardwaj from Rishi Apartments also expressed their views and extended support to Sukhdev Singh Patwari. They said that residents are giving priority to development and honest leadership, which is why more people are coming forward in support of Patwari. At the conclusion of the meeting, Sukhdev Singh Patwari thanked the residents for their support and said that with public cooperation, Ward No. 34 would be developed into a model ward. Several local residents, including R.K. Gupta, Kulwant Singh, Manjit Singh, Balwinder Singh, Baljit Singh, Bipanjeet Singh, R.K. Sharma, Avinash, Kamaljeet Kaur, Sunita Tikku, Rupinder Sarao, G.P.S. Sandhu, Swarnjeet Sharma, and Gagandeep Singh, were present at the event.
