Report Claims IRGC-Trained Suspect Targeted Donald Trump’s Daughter

An alleged plot to assassinate Ivanka Trump, daughter of former US President Donald Trump, has reportedly been uncovered. According to a report published by the New York Post, an alleged terrorist trained by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had planned an attack targeting Ivanka Trump. The report stated that the FBI arrested 32-year-old Iraqi national Mohammed Baqer Saad Daoud Al-Saadi on charges of conspiring to assassinate Ivanka Trump. Investigators reportedly found that the accused wanted to avenge the 2020 US drone strike carried out during Donald Trump’s previous term in office, in which Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani was killed. According to the report, Al-Saadi allegedly possessed a blueprint of Ivanka Trump’s residence in Florida and had posted online threats warning Americans that “neither your home nor the Secret Service will protect you.” Authorities stated that the Iraqi citizen was arrested in Turkey on May 15 and later extradited to the United States. Officials have also accused the suspect of involvement in 18 attacks and attempted attacks across Europe and North America. These incidents allegedly included firebombings, shootings, stabbings, and attacks targeting Jewish locations and US diplomatic facilities. The report further claimed that Al-Saadi worked for Kataib Hezbollah, an Iran-backed militia group, and maintained close ties with the IRGC.
