Arshdeep Singh Asked to Avoid Vlogging During IPL Following Chahal Row
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly instructed Indian cricketer and Punjab Kings fast bowler Arshdeep Singh not to create or post vlogs on social media for the remainder of the tournament. According to sources, the board has advised the player to refrain from uploading any vlog-related content during the ongoing competition. The directive comes after fellow cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal became involved in a controversy linked to one of Arshdeep Singh’s recent vlogs. Social media users alleged that Chahal was seen using an e-cigarette inside an aircraft while the team was reportedly travelling from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad. The incident has drawn attention because Chahal had earlier stated before the start of the tournament that his primary focus was on maintaining his fitness. The alleged visuals from the vlog quickly circulated online, leading to criticism and discussions on social media platforms. This is not the first vaping-related controversy during the IPL season. Recently, Riyan Parag, captain of the Rajasthan Royals, was reportedly caught on camera using a vape in the dressing room during a match against Punjab Kings in Mullanpur. Following the incident, he was fined 25 percent of his match fee. Arshdeep Singh has remained highly active on social media and is widely known for sharing humorous behind-the-scenes videos with fans. However, following the latest controversy, the pacer has reportedly been advised to stay away from vlog content for the time being. What is Vaping? Vaping is the process of inhaling aerosol or vapour produced by an electronic device such as an e-cigarette. Unlike traditional tobacco cigarettes, vaping devices do not produce smoke but generate aerosol vapour that is inhaled by the user.
