Gold and Silver Prices Surge on February 23; Silver Sees Sharp Rise

Gold and silver prices witnessed a notable rise on February 23, reflecting continued momentum in the bullion market. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold increased by ₹3,362 per 10 grams, reaching ₹1,58,428. Previously, gold was priced at ₹1,55,066 per 10 grams. Silver prices also recorded a sharp increase. The price of one kilogram of silver rose by ₹15,236, taking it to ₹2,65,550 per kilogram. A day earlier, silver was priced at ₹2,50,314 per kilogram. Market experts suggest that the upward trend in gold and silver prices may continue in the coming days. The ongoing rise is expected to attract increased interest from investors looking at precious metals as a secure investment option.
