Rajasthan Royals Seal Playoff Spot; Delhi Beats Kolkata in Season’s Last League Game

The final double-header of the IPL 2026 league stage was played on Sunday, with Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals emerging victorious in their respective matches. The first match of the day was played between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium. Rajasthan Royals defeated Mumbai Indians by 30 runs to confirm their place in the IPL 2026 playoffs. In the second match of the day, which was also the final league game of IPL 2026, Delhi Capitals defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 40 runs at Eden Gardens. After losing the toss, Delhi Capitals posted a total of 203 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, Kolkata Knight Riders were bowled out for 163 runs in 18.4 overs. Despite the result, both teams had already been eliminated from the playoff race before the match. Delhi concluded their IPL 2026 campaign with a convincing win, while Kolkata ended their season with a defeat at home.
