Tragedy in Ottawa: Punjabi Youth Burnt Alive in Devastating Two-Car Crash in Canada

A 26-year-old youth from Punjab lost his life in a severe road accident in Canada after becoming trapped inside his burning vehicle following a violent collision. The victim has been identified as Brahmjot Singh, a resident of Tanda in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab, who had moved to Canada approximately two years ago. The incident occurred shortly after 1:00 AM on Wednesday in the southwestern area of Ottawa, near the intersection of Fallowfield Road and Old Richmond Road. According to officials, Brahmjot was driving a Honda CR-V when his vehicle collided head-on with a Kia Sorento. The force of the impact was so severe that both vehicles were thrown approximately 25 feet apart before bursting into flames. Due to the extent of his injuries sustained in the crash, Brahmjot was unable to escape from his car. Meanwhile, emergency responders managed to rescue the driver of the Kia Sorento, who was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. The Ottawa Fire Services and local police reported that the flames were extremely intense, making it initially difficult for firefighters to reach the vehicles. Once emergency crews brought the fire under control, they discovered Brahmjot Singh’s charred body in the front seat of his Honda. He was the sole occupant of the car, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Local police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the exact sequence of events, including which vehicle's driver was at fault for the crash.
