Mohali Tragedy: Bank Clerk Killed After Fall From High-Rise Building
A State Bank of India (SBI) employee died under suspicious circumstances in Mohali after falling from the 10th floor of a residential tower. The deceased has been identified as Vikram Singh, a resident of Hoshiarpur, who was employed as a clerk at the SBI branch in Chandigarh's Sector 8. According to available information, Vikram Singh had come to Mohali to visit his sister. The incident took place at around 12:25 a.m. on Wednesday night when he reportedly fell from the 10th floor of Tower No. 3. A video related to the incident has also surfaced. Authorities have not yet determined whether the case involves suicide or an accidental fall. The exact circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear and are currently under investigation. Residents of the housing society reported hearing a loud noise late at night, prompting them to rush towards the parking area. Upon reaching the spot, they found the body of a 35-year-old man lying on the ground. Local residents stated that the deceased was wearing headphones at the time of the incident. They also claimed that cable wires were found wrapped around his legs. Following the incident, police took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination. Police officials said that further action will be taken based on the findings of the post-mortem report, CCTV footage, and other evidence collected during the investigation. Authorities are continuing to examine all aspects of the case to determine the cause of death.
