IRGC Confirms Death of Spokesperson Naeini Amid Ongoing Attacks

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesperson General Ali Mohammad Naeini was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Friday. The IRGC confirmed his death in an official statement. According to reports, Naeini was specifically targeted in a recent attack. The IRGC is regarded as one of Iran’s most powerful military and economic institutions and reports directly to the country’s Supreme Leader. The strike comes at a time when US and Israeli forces are intensifying operations under “Operation Epic Fury,” targeting Iran’s strategic locations and leadership. Naeini’s death marks the fourth major loss for Iran’s leadership within the past week. In recent days, Iran has also lost three other prominent officials in similar attacks. These include former parliament speaker and senior advisor Ali Larijani, Basij volunteer force chief Gholamreza Soleimani, and Iran’s intelligence minister Ismail Khatib.
