Manish Sisodia to Lead AAP Meeting in Jalandhar Ahead of Assembly Elections

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is holding an important state-level meeting of party workers in Jalandhar on Wednesday. The meeting has been convened with the participation of all party MLAs, Members of Parliament, and nearly 1,000 block observers. The session will be led by senior party leader Manish Sisodia and is expected to focus on mobilising party workers in preparation for the upcoming विधानसभा elections. Discussions will also be held on strengthening the party’s organisational structure across the state. According to information, the meeting is being आयोजित at PAP, Jalandhar. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will join the session virtually. In addition, AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal is also likely to address the gathering through a virtual platform. The meeting had drawn attention after details about it surfaced on social media a day earlier, leading to speculation. Clarifying the situation, Manish Sisodia posted on social media platform X, stating that the meeting is not an emergency gathering of MLAs, as was being portrayed. He explained that it is a routine organisational meeting involving around 1,000 block observers. Such meetings are part of the party’s regular organisational process, where detailed discussions are held on the status of each block, grassroots feedback, and future action plans.
