Chandigarh Declares Public Holiday on June 18 to Mark Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s Martyrdom Day

The Chandigarh Administration has declared a public holiday on Thursday, June 18, in observance of the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji. The decision was announced through an official notification issued by the Home Department on Wednesday. According to the notification, all government offices, boards, corporations, government institutions, and industrial establishments under the Chandigarh Administration will remain closed on June 18. The official order was issued by Home Secretary Diprava Lakra. The administration stated that the holiday has been declared to commemorate the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji.
