Kash Patel and Singer Alexis Wilkins Announce Engagement on Social Medi

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel has become engaged to country singer Alexis Wilkins. The couple announced their engagement in a post on the social media platform X on Sunday evening.
Wilkins, 27, shared a black-and-white photograph of herself with Patel in which she can be seen displaying her engagement ring. She accompanied the picture with a humorous caption that read, “Got the legal stuff done.”
Patel, 46, and Wilkins had been dating before he became FBI director in 2025. Wilkins was also present at Patel’s swearing-in ceremony when he took charge of the agency.
Wilkins is a country singer and political commentator who released her debut album in 2023. According to information on her website, her aim is to honour the traditions of country music while presenting them in a slightly modern way.
Patel has previously faced criticism over his use of government aircraft for trips that did not have an obvious or known law-enforcement purpose. One such trip involved an FBI aircraft taking him to State College, Pennsylvania, where Wilkins performed the national anthem at a professional wrestling event.
Photographs later shared by Wilkins on social media showed the couple smiling together.
Wilkins had also attracted attention after performing at President Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair, an event held on the National Mall to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States.
