Haryana Secretariat Employee Dies After Jumping from Building in Chandigarh

In a tragic incident, an employee of the Haryana Civil Secretariat died after allegedly jumping from the rooftop of the building. The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Dass Arora, who was working as a secretary attached to a Haryana IAS officer. According to initial information, as soon as the incident was reported, the Chandigarh Police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the matter. Sources revealed that this was not the first such attempt by the employee. Nearly 15 days ago, he had reportedly tried to jump from the same building, but was stopped by people present at the location. On Wednesday afternoon, Ganesh Dass Arora once again went to the rooftop of the Secretariat and jumped. He was immediately rushed to the Government Hospital in Sector 16, where doctors declared him dead. Police officials have begun a detailed inquiry to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident. Further investigation is underway.
