Chandigarh : In a significant political development ahead of the Ludhiana West by-election, senior Akali Dal leaders Rajinder Deepa and Sarbjot Singh Sabi joined the Congress party today.

The induction took place at the Punjab Congress Bhawan in the presence of Punjab Congress President Raja Warring, senior leaders Partap Singh Bajwa, Bhupesh Baghel, and other prominent party members.

Notably, Rajinder Deepa is the brother-in-law of Punjab Aam Aadmi Party President and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, making his shift to Congress politically significant.
