Fatal Road Accident Near Shekhupura Village Claims Two Lives

A tragic road accident occurred on the Ludhiana-Ferozepur Road near Shekhupura village on Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to five others. The injured were immediately shifted to different hospitals for treatment. Both vehicles involved in the collision were severely damaged due to the impact. According to available information, a Ritz car traveling from Moga towards Ludhiana suffered a rear tyre burst near Shekhupura village. The sudden tyre failure caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, which crossed the divider and collided head-on with an oncoming Swift car. Hardeep Singh and Devkaran Singh, residents of Khosa Randhir in Ludhiana and occupants of the Ritz car, sustained serious injuries in the accident. Meanwhile, Lal Din, Siraj Din, Mamusen, and Shanu, who were traveling in the Swift car and are residents of Tajpur Road, Ludhiana, also suffered severe injuries. The driver of the Swift car died on the spot. It is reported that all the occupants were on their way to attend a funeral gathering in Moga when the accident took place. The deceased Siraj Din is survived by three daughters and one son. Another injured victim, Siraj Din (30), later succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Police have taken both damaged vehicles into custody and initiated further legal proceedings in connection with the incident.
