Major Accident Near Sector-38 Light Point Leaves One Seriously Injured

A serious road accident took place in Chandigarh on Tuesday near the Sector-38 light point, involving a Himachal Roadways bus and a Scorpio vehicle. The collision resulted in extensive damage to the Scorpio, leaving its driver severely injured. According to reports, the impact of the crash completely wrecked the Scorpio. The injured driver sustained critical injuries, causing panic at the accident site. The incident also led to heavy congestion in the area, with long queues of vehicles forming soon after the collision. Upon receiving information about the accident, police PCR units rushed to the spot and immediately shifted the injured driver to Sector-16 Hospital for treatment. Sources indicate that the driver’s condition is serious. The accident caused significant traffic disruption at the Sector-38 light point. Two to three police PCR vehicles were deployed at the scene, and after considerable effort, authorities managed to restore the smooth flow of traffic.
