PM Modi to Chair First Cabinet Meeting at New Office ‘Seva Teerth’

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is scheduled to meet today in New Delhi. Notably, this meeting will take place at the Prime Minister’s newly established office, ‘Seva Teerth,’ which was recently inaugurated by him. This marks the first Cabinet meeting to be held at the new location. According to official information, the meeting has been convened for Tuesday at 11:00 AM. The shift to ‘Seva Teerth’ represents a significant development in administrative functioning, as the Cabinet begins its proceedings from the new office premises. The previous Cabinet meeting was held on February 13 at the Prime Minister’s Office in South Block. Following that session, the office operations were relocated to ‘Seva Teerth.’ During the earlier meeting, Prime Minister Modi shared several personal memories associated with the South Block building. He also informed ministers about historical milestones, noting that after Independence, the first four Cabinet meetings led by Jawaharlal Nehru were held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Prime Minister also recalled several key decisions taken from South Block in the years following Independence.
