PM Narendra Modi Hits 100 Million Followers on Instagram, Sets Global Record

Narendra Modi has achieved a major milestone on Instagram, reaching 100 million followers. With this achievement, he has become the first world leader and politician to cross this mark on the platform. Prime Minister Modi joined Instagram in 2014, and his presence has steadily grown over the years. His follower count now significantly surpasses that of other global leaders, reflecting his widespread popularity on social media. In comparison, former U.S. President Donald Trump holds the second position with approximately 43.2 million followers—less than half of Modi’s total. Following Trump, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto ranks third with around 15 million followers. Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has about 14.4 million followers, while Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has 11.6 million. Notably, the combined follower count of the world’s top five leaders is still lower than Modi’s individual total, underscoring his unmatched reach and influence on the platform.
