Raghav Chadha Meets PM Modi, Discusses Punjab’s Political Situation Ahead of Elections

BJP leader Raghav Chadha met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg on Saturday and discussed the prevailing political situation in Punjab in view of the upcoming elections. The meeting took place just a day after Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal met Prime Minister Modi. The back-to-back meetings have come amid heightened political activity in Punjab. Describing the occasion as a morning he would always remember, Chadha expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister following the meeting. Sharing his reaction, Chadha said he had the privilege of meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and described their interaction as a detailed and meaningful discussion. He also thanked the Prime Minister for his valuable time and for giving him an opportunity to benefit from his views and guidance. Punjab is currently governed by the Aam Aadmi Party, led by Arvind Kejriwal. In a significant shift in political loyalties, Raghav Chadha and seven other former AAP Rajya Sabha members recently joined the BJP. The meeting between Chadha and Prime Minister Modi comes at a time when political activity in Punjab has intensified ahead of the upcoming elections.
