The footage quickly attracted attention on social media, with several fans expressing concern about the actor's health. Salman later clarified that there was no actual health emergency and explained the reason behind his actions.
Salman Khan Says His Health Is Fine
Amid growing concern among fans, Salman Khan took to his Instagram Story to clarify the situation. He said that, by God's grace, there was nothing wrong with his health.
The actor also criticised the editing of the Bigg Boss promo. According to Salman, the promo was edited in a way that made it appear as though he was genuinely suffering from a health problem.
Why Did Salman Pretend to Be Unwell?
Salman explained that his actions on the show were deliberate and were intended to teach contestant Kazi an important lesson.
According to the actor, he wanted Kazi to understand that using one's health as a means of entertainment was inappropriate. Salman said that the other 15 housemates were unaware that Kazi's actions were part of a situation that was being used for entertainment, and they became genuinely concerned about his well-being.
Salman said his own act was intended to make Kazi realise how his behaviour could affect other people. However, he felt that the editing of the promo changed the context of the incident and made it appear as though Salman himself was doing the same thing he had criticised Kazi for doing.
Salman Khan Responds to Social Media Trolls
During the episode, Salman also addressed social media trolling, particularly comments targeting the appearance and looks of female actors.
The actor also responded to discussions surrounding his bald look. On stage, he removed his cap and T-shirt while challenging trolls to comment on his appearance.
Salman said that he did not have visible abs and invited those who wanted to troll him to look at his appearance and continue if they wished.
Salman Khan's Upcoming Film 'Maatrubhoomi'
On the work front, Salman Khan is set to appear in director Apoorv Lakhia's upcoming film Maatrubhoomi. The release date of the movie has not yet been announced.
